Evey Mengelkoch - Social Media, Corporate & Congressional Communications, Podcasts & Live Events

Evey writes and manages posts for the campaign's Twitter and other parts of the social media. She also contributes to outreach to Congress and corporations as well as other tasks as needed.

Erika Pietrzak - Environmental Justice, Podcasts & Live Events

Erika is an undergraduate student at Duke University in North Carolina and resides in Maryland. She is majoring in Public Policy and African American & African Studies with a minor in Earth and Climate Sciences. She is a co-leader for the Environmental Justice team.

Chisom Nnajiofor - Corporate & Congressional Communications

Chisom, a recent graduate with a master's in Global Public Policy from Suffolk University, has been a pivotal member of Change the Chamber since August 2023. Her commitment to environmental policies, sustainability and equity is rooted in personal experiences in Nigeria. As a passionate advocate for climate actions, she engages in impactful research and congressional projects, Chisom aims to make a difference in the communities most affected by climate issues. 

Aryana Wadhwani - Corporate & Congressional Communications, Legal & Research

Aryana is an undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, obtaining a degree in Neurobiology in hopes of pursuing a medical degree in the future. She looks at the intersection between developmental neuroscience and environmental sustainability, researching the emerging field of "environmental neurotoxicology" and "environmental neuroscience." She is also a member of the UNFCCC YOUNGO's working groups for Health and Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE).

Aaron Lloyd White- Fundraising & Development

Aaron is the founding Executive Director of Kultur Mercado, working to explore cultural similarities and celebrate our differences — together. He has over a decade of experience in fundraising, policy analysis, and organizing for nonprofits across the globe. He is a native of the Coachella Valley in California where he cultivated a love for nature and a passion for addressing inequity. He received his MA in Environmental Studies at Tel Aviv University in 2014 and his BA in Politics from the University of California at Santa Cruz, in 2011. He is particularly interested in market-based environmentalism, with a focus on moving markets towards climate resilience. 

Raymond Agyepong Antwi - Fundraising & Development

Raymond is a Ph.D. candidate in Urban Forestry and Natural Resources at Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. With a passion for environmental stewardship and sustainable urban development, his research focuses on the intersection of urban forestry, sustainability, and community resilience. He is actively involved in Change the Chamber's Fundraising team, where he plays a crucial role in researching, compiling, and applying for various opportunities, as well as conducting interviews to support the organization's mission.

Sarah Hill - ESG Campaign, Social Media, Outreach & Recruitment, Legal & Research

Sarah creates content for our Social Media, with a focus on responding to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and on replying to anti-ESG posts on twitter/x. They respond to anti-ESG posts as part of their role leading our ESG campaigns, with the other part of those campaigns being to focus on engaging influencers in educating others on sustainable investing and how they can take action to support the practice. With these duties, Sarah has become a leader within Change the Chamber and routinely facilities core team meetings, helps with Outreach, planning, and maintaining good relationships with our coalition members.

Manushi Sharma - Environmental Justice, Changemaker Training

Manushi is passionate about intersectoral and systems-wide approaches to tackle public health and environmental injustice issues. She specializes in participatory learning and evaluation of programs. 

Samantha Grimes - Corporate & Congressional Communications

Samantha earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Marian University and her Master of Science in Conservation Biology from the University of Central Florida. She helps with the Congressional Outreach team. She is interested in environmental policy, education, and their intersections with equity. 

Samuel Bamidele - Legal & Research, ESG Campaign, Social Media

Samuel Bamidele is a project soil scientist at KerTec LLC in Lubbock, TX, specializing in the design and implementation of native ecological restoration and post-construction reclamation activities. Prior to working with KerTec LLC, he served as a Soil Health Sampling Specialist with the Soil Health Institute on the U.S. Regenerative Cotton project, collaborating with growers in Alabama and Mississippi to collect soil samples and metadata in the field. He holds a B. Agric in Soil Science and Land Management from the Federal University of Agriculture, Nigeria, and an M.S. in Plant and Soil Science from the University of Delaware. Samuel is actively involved in how conserving our soils could be a power tool in our fight against climate change. 

Carly Dempsey - Corporate & Congressional Communications, ESG Campaign

Carly in an undergraduate student at Florida Atlantic University, completing a B.S. in Biological Sciences with a minor in Political Science, focusing on marine botany.

Camille Rohde - Outreach & Recruitment, Corporate & Congressional Communications

Camille obtained her B.S. in Environmental Science and Geography with a Minor in Sociology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). She is currently working on obtaining a Digital Generalist data science certificate through UMBC. Camille currently serves on the Outreach and Congressional and Corporate Communication teams. She is passionate about using intersectionality to inform climate resilient policy, infrastructure, and disaster risk reduction, as well as working in K-12 environmental education. 

Tony Passino - Changemaker Training, Corporate & Congressional Communications

Tony loves the outdoors and it is through this love that he is motivated to be a national climate fellow with change the chamber. Currently, he helps to lead the changemaker training team and contributes through writing blog posts.  As of September 2023, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in business administration with a focus on organizations and social change at UMass Boston. When he is not studying or working with CTC, he can be found in a tent or on a bike with his partner Olivia.

Nora Cross - Podcasts & Live Events, Changemaker Training

Nora Isabel Cross is an actor, project manager, and holistic coach. She holds a B.A. in Dramatic Literature and Theater, as well as a Master's in Management of Creative and Cultural Industries. Nora is the Chair of the Advisory Board of Theatre of Hearts and is actively involved in animal rights advocacy.

Hunter Mundy - Changemaker Training

Hunter helped to create the "How to be an Environmental Changemaker" toolkit and strives to make a positive impact in the world today.

Miguel Lopes - Legal & Research, Environmental Justice

Miguel is a graduate of Lusofona University of Porto with a bachelor's degree in European Studies, Lusophone Studies and International Relations. He is very interested in climate justice and climate legislation. He is a member of the Research and Environmental Justice teams.

Saidou Abdoulaye Sy - Fundraising & Development

Saidou Abdoulaye Sy is an Economist specializing in Development Economics (Energy, Climate Change,
and International Economics) and Quantitative Methods (Econometrics, System Dynamics, and
Integrated Assessment Modeling). Saidou holds a Ph.D. in Economics, a Master’s degree in Quantitative Economics, and a Bachelor’s
degree in Mathematical Economics and Econometrics from the University of Tunis El Manar in Tunisia.
He is currently a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Climate Policy Lab, part of the Center for International
Environment and Resource Policy at the Fletcher School, Tufts University. In this role, he leads energy
and climate modeling efforts, which are essential to the Climate Policy’s Raising Ambition Project,
primarily focused on analyzing climate policy gaps in emerging economies.

Saili Raje - Fundraising & Development

Saili Raje is a member of the fundraising team for Change the Chamber. She studied accounting in undergrad, and worked as a corporate tax accountant for five years. In order to pursue her passion for environmental sustainability, she got her MBA at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, where she completed the sustainability concentration. She now works as a management consultant, focused on renewable energy and sustainability projects. 

Arianna Soresi - Fundraising & Development, Legal & Research, Environmental Justice

Arianna earned her B.S. in Physics at the University of Miami and now works as an Environmental Scientist in the Washington, DC area. She joined Change The Chamber in November 2022 and now leads the Fundraising & Development team. In this role, she works alongside and educates climate fellows to research, compile, apply, and interview for grant opportunities. She is passionate about sustainability, renewable energy, plastic pollution, ESG standards and the ongoing climate crisis.

Erin F. McClain - Changemaker Training, Corporate & Congressional Communications

Erin graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences in Climate Science and Creative Writing. At Penn she received the 2024 LPS Award for Academic Achievement in the Natural Sciences. In 2021 Erin graduated Summa Cum Laude with an A.S. in Mathematics from the Community College of Allegheny County, and that year she was named the Two Year College Student of the Year by the Northeast Regional Honors Council. Her professional interests are in sustainable housing and food and agriculture policy with regards to climate change. Erin works with the Changemaker Training team and formerly co-led the congressional and corporate outreach team.

Dina Naziri - Outreach & Recruitment, Social Media, Fundraising & Development

Dina is an undergraduate general biology student at the University of California, Irvine. Although she has been passionate about sustainability for a while, being a part of Change the Chamber is her first formal experience with it, and she says it has been amazing! Outside of Change the Chamber, she is involved in internships related to the healthcare field and tutoring. She eventually hopes to attend medical school and become a surgeon. In the near future, she wishes to pursue aviation as a hobby.

Daniel Kwawuvi - ESG Campaign

Daniel is currently a graduate research assistant at Valdosta State University in Georgia. He is
involved in aquatic biology research. He obtained his PhD in Climate Change and Water Resources
from the University of Abomey-Calavi under the West African Center on Climate Change and
Adapted Land Use program. He is passionate about environmental sustainability. He is a member
of the ESG team.

Adeniji Michael Oluwafemi - Environmental Justice, Legal & Research

Adeniji Michael Oluwafemi is a dedicated National Energy Expert in Nigeria, currently serving as the Senior Technical Officer at the National Centre for Energy Efficiency and Conservation, a key research hub within the Energy Commission of Nigeria. With extensive expertise in renewable energy, energy management, energy efficiency, and energy storage,and energy audit he plays a pivotal role in shaping sustainable energy practices in the country. Adeniji also serves as the National Vice Chairman of the Nigeria National Technical Committee on Electrical Installation, Accessories, and Safety Regulation. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Electronics Engineering from Université Protestante de l'Afrique de l'Ouest (UPAO) and has completed diplomas at The Polytechnic, Ibadan, and Osun State College of Technology.

Will Felix - Podcast, Corporate & Congressional Communications

Will received his Bachelors of Arts degree with majors in Marine Affairs and Ecosystem Science & Policy from the University of Miami in 2021. Will manages, co-hosts, and produces the Let's Talk About Climate podcast. Additionally, he assists in strategic planning for Corporate & Congressional Communications. He is interested in pursuing a career in environmental advocacy and policy.

Sophie Gormley - Legal, Corporate & Congressional Communications

Sophie works on CTC’s congressional and legal teams. She is a Masters student in George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management Legislative Affairs program. She hopes to work in a government affairs or legislative affairs team at an environmental nonprofit in DC. 

Emma Vagelos - Recruitment, Changemaker Toolkit

Emma heads the recruitment team along with direct action. Her most recent project has been organizing the "How to be an Environmental Changemaker" toolkit.

Ethan Barragán - Social Media, Environmental Justice, Corporate & Congressional Communications

Ethan helps gather climate news, environmental justice resources, and helpful campaign links for the weekly newsletter. He also helps facilitate Core Team meetings, attends coalition Zoom calls, sends emails to the campus groups.

Zach Roberts - Research, Corporate & Congressional Communications

Zach researches the U.S. Chamber's record on policy, writes articles, and contributes to Congressional outreach. He is a recent graduate of William & Mary in Government and Environmental Policy, and is committed to advancing the clean energy transition and creating a more sustainable world.

Sabrenia Sweatt - Graphic Design/TikTok

Sabrenia is a cat enthusiast and show fanatic. She’s passionate about using her artistic abilities to spread messages for mental health and protection of wildlife animals.

Meleine Yao - TikTok, Research

Meleine leads the Tiktok team and contributes to research and other social media teams. She enjoys researching current news on climate change science, climate change policies, environmental injustice, and the selected target companies each month.

Logan does research on the influence corporations have on continuing the fossil fuel economy. He also works with our senate outreach team pushing congress to enact science based climate policy.

Nicolette Cure - Social Media, Communications

Nicolette manages all outreach and communication with individuals working in the environmental sector, as well as other environmental groups, on the campaign's LinkedIn account. Through her outreach, she connects people to the Lobby For Climate campaign, informing them about our goals and encouraging them to share our social media posts.

She also finds and shares scholarly articles with the coalition’s Environmental Justice database. As an environmental studies student, she has experience examining frames of scientific communication and interpreting public policy.

Julian manages, co-hosts, and produces the campaign's very own podcast called Let's Talk About Climate. Additionally, he assists in strategic planning for communicating with target audience.

Laurel Mire - Social Media, Direct Action

Laurel has worked in many of the campaign's facets, including student group outreach, writing and editing content, webinar participation, and research. She currently works on the social media and direct action teams, creating weekly posts for the campaign’s Facebook page and organizing a coalition of boycotts at schools across the country. She is interested in the role of effective science communication in shaping perception and action in the public and political spheres.

Shruti is a recent graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Bioenvironmental Sciences. She contributes to Congressional Outreach, creates content for Twitter, and helps with Fundraising. She is interested in pursuing a career in environmental law and policy.

Robin Doyle - Social Media, Changemaker Training, Environmental Justice

Robin is a graduate of Florida State University where she earned her B.A. in English with a concentration in Editing, Writing & Media. She is interested in the intersection of environmentalism and social justice, exploring the ways in which media representations of social issues impact societal values. She aims to use this knowledge to promote meaningful change, sustainable behaviors and environmental equity.

Meliya Soller - Podcasts & Live Webinars

Meliya is a student at Hamilton College and is majoring in environmental studies and minoring in biology. She works with the podcast team and is interested in science communication and environmental policy.

Kendall Chappell - Legal, Research, Environmental Justice

Kendall is a fourth year at UChicago studying environmental science. She is very interested in the legal side of environmental issues, and works with the environmental justice, legal, and research teams.

Yesenia Chavez - Research, Corporate & Congressional Communications, Environmental Justice

Yesenia earned her B.A. from Yale University and is currently a graduate student in environmental sciences and policy at Johns Hopkins. She is a co-lead of the Research team and collaborates with the Corporate & Congressional and Environmental Justice teams. She is interested in international environmental justice, specifically in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Felicia Wang - Corporate & Congressional Communications, Research

Felicia is a member of the Corporate and Congressional Communications Team. She enjoys lobbying the EPA and Congressional staff for better climate policies, as well as participating in coalition meetings to learn from other groups and build people power. She also helps track Chamber of Commerce actions, research new policies, and write op-eds.
Nina Jacobs - Environmental Justice, International OutreachNina is a recent graduate with a double major in Anthropology and English. Much of her experience has been concerned with environmental justice and understanding how the climate crisis affects certain demographics disproportionately. Her area of interest is understanding global climate change through an anthropological lens, leading to her involvement in the campaign’s international outreach.

Nina is a writer and editor for multiple teams. She co-leads Environmental Justice, and enjoys onboarding and training new members interested in climate justice. 

Aaron Molina Fletcher - Graphic Design/Instagram

Aaron is a professional in Communications with a passion for nature. As a member of the Graphic Design Team, he collaborates with the Research Team and the Podcast Team to create engaging content to bring attention to critical issues within the context of environmental protection. 

Morgan Thibodeau - Graphic Design/Instagram

Morgan helps brainstorm and design content for the Instagram team. She also assisted with creating Change the Chamber’s new campaign identity.

Emily Daggar - Social Media, Core Team Recruitment

Emily is a student at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. She helps with writing posts for Twitter and Facebook, as well as recruiting for the Core Team.

Jenna Burgess - Research, Social Media

Jenna co-leads the research team. She tracks the Chamber of Commerce as well as corporations that have a strong influence over environmental policy. She has also worked with the social media team to help educate youth on the importance of environmental advocacy.

Jenny Kim - Research, Social Media, Recruitment

Jenny helps manage and create content for the campaign Instagram, conducts research on target companies and the U.S. Chamber, and recruits groups to engage with our campaign. She writes blog posts on cases surrounding the Chamber. She hopes to continue advocating for science based climate legislation by changing the Chamber.

Matthew Melliza - Recruitment, Social Media

Matthew creates eye-catching instagram posts and Tiktoks that call out corporations for their U.S. Chamber of Commerce fossil fueling activities. He reaches out to student groups to encourage them to help with the campaign.

Elic Weitzel - Legal & Research, Corporate & Congressional Communications

Elic works with the Research and Congressional and Corporate Communications teams. He is pursuing his Ph.D. in anthropology at the University of Connecticut and is most interested in sustainability, democratic governance, and natural resource policy.

Ellie Georgeson - Corporate & Congressional Communications

Ellie is an undergraduate at Tulane University, working on her degree in Political Science and Environmental Studies. She helps with the congressional and corporate outreach team. Her overall interest in climate advocacy is in promoting climate education and access to the green workforce.

Rae Dunbar - Corporate & Congressional Communications

Rae is a member of the Congressional Outreach team, where she meets with both campaign managers to aid elected officials in reelection and corporations to encourage them to lobby for climate policy. Rae is also a writer and editor for this team. She has composed letters to corporations, and is currently working on a report about the U.S. Chamber. She also presented about the current state of climate change for a Change the Chamber and CAC national webinar titled Climate Solutions and Green Jobs.

Trey Purves - Fundraising

Trey is a student at Columbia University studying Sustainable Development. At Change the Chamber, he works with the fundraising team to scout and obtain grants, and with the Facebook team where he writes weekly posts sharing recent climate happenings.

Emma Woelkers - Corporate & Congressional Communications, Research, Environmental Justice

Emma received her Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Studies and Sustainability at Northern Michigan University. She co-leads the Congressional and Corporate Outreach team, and assists with the Research and Environmental Justice teams. She is interested in environmental policy, community organizing, and protecting our water.

Shen Shen - Research, Environmental Justice, Recruitment, Twitter, Corporate & Congressional Communications

Shen co-leads the Research team, contributes to the  campaign’s Twitter and recruits core team members & student groups. She is also an active member of our Environmental Justice and Corporate & Congressional Communications teams.

Yin Liu - Communication, Social Media, Environmental Justice, Podcast

Yin helps create weekly posts for Change the Chamber’s Facebook and Instagram. She works alongside the Target Communications and Environmental Justice teams to empower youth voices in climate justice. She is also co-host of the 'Lets Talk About Climate' podcast.

Joey Abbott - Graphic Design/Instagram

Joey creates graphics for CTC's official Instagram and is one of the Instagram + TikTok team co-leads.

Emily Halliday - Graphic Design/Instagram

Emily is a Master of Public Health student at Boston University. She designs content for our Graphic Design/Instagram Team.

Michelle Coulson - Graphic Design/Instagram, Student Group Recruitment

Michelle is soon to graduate from Texas State Technical College with an Associate in Graphic Design. She uses her knowledge in graphic design to create posts for the Instagram page. She also helps with recruiting student groups for our coalition.

Abby Waldron - Corporate & Congressional Communications, Social Media Management

Abby is a recent graduate from the University of Georgia. She helps lead the Congressional & Corporate Outreach team and is a frequent contributor to the campaign's Twitter.

Paloma Quiroga - Research, Environmental Justice

Paloma is part of the research team where she helps conduct research on target companies every month as well as tracking the U.S. Chamber’s political activity and lobbying. She is also a member of the environmental justice team.

Jill Cass - Communications, Podcast, Research

Jill is one of the hosts and content creators for the Let’s Talk About Climate podcast. She helps with recruitment as well, both onboarding new members and reaching out to student groups across the country to partner with the campaign. In addition, Jill assists in planning and communicating with US Chamber member companies, the Chamber itself, and with campaign partners.

Emma helps develop conversations with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce as well as individual member companies. Through her research and writing, she helps expose the U.S. Chamber's destructive lobbying, funding and litigation and catalyze the steps corporations need to take to ensure a livable planet.

Rebecca Rennecker - Research, Social Media

Rebecca researches the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's involvement in climate lobbying. She focuses on their involvement with the fossil fuel industry and creates social media and blog posts exposing large companies for their anti-climate actions and affiliations.

Hannah Besly - Direct Action, Environmental Justice, Communications

Sophie Cifolelli - Research, Corporate & Congressional Communications, Environmental Justice

Sophie has earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with a concentration in Public Policy, and credit toward a Masters of Arts Program. She facilitates core team meetings and assists with research and Congressional outreach data. Her interests are climate change’s impact on gender inclusiveness and mental health awareness.

Gabriela Carson - Legal

Gabriela is a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. She works mainly with the legal team, and is interested in environmental policy, corporate responsibility, and sustainable development. 
Vivian Kim - Social Media Vivian creates content for the campaign Twitter account and monitors the social media storms. She interacts with the environmental community to drive the social pressure for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to Lobby For Climate.

Amber Reader - Corporate & Congressional Communications, Social Media, Recruitment

Amber helps lead the Congressional Outreach team and contributes some of her other time towards writing post, special interest projects, and welcoming/introducing new members to Change The Chamber*Lobby For Climate.

Diego Colunga - Research

Diego is a recent graduate with studies in Sustainable Development and International Relations. He co-leads the Research Team. His main interest in the climate fight is in finding better ways of organizing and thriving in harmony with our planet.

Becca Phillips - Podcast, Environmental Justice

Becca helps host and produce podcasts for Let's Talk About Climate, CTC's podcast. She also supports the environmental justice and core team efforts.

Stella Younkin - Research

Stella is a co-lead of the Research Team. She helps research the U.S. Chamber’s activity, social media, endorsements, corporate donations etc., as well as work on other research projects that are used by various teams.

Daniel Block - Corporate & Congressional Communications, Social Media Management

Daniel attends Brandeis University and is pursuing a degree in Environmental and American Studies. His most recent project has been identifying key midterm campaigns to meet with and figure out the best ways for CTC to support climate champions as the nation approaches November. 

Aaditi Lele - Media, Corporate & Congressional Communications, Environmental Justice

Aaditi is a first-year at Vanderbilt studying Political Science, Environmental Sociology, and Climate Studies. She organizes with the Fossil Free Five coalition, filing legal complaints against fossil fuel investments, and serves as the Policy Communications Coordinator at Zero Hour.

Elin Chan - Communications, Podcast

Elin helps organize, plan, and communicate with US Chamber member companies and directly with the Chamber. She manages, co-hosts, and produces the podcast 'Lets Talk About Climate'.

Roya Wolfe - Graphic Design/Instagram, Advertising

Roya helped develop the Instagram by creating and designing several graphics and researching pieces and stories. She also helped the Advertising team create social media ads targeting specific corporations and their lobbying practices. She works at a nonprofit and studied environment and energy at Georgetown University SFS.

Nevia Selmon - Media Outreach, Recruitment

Nevia assists in the development of outreach that is used in contacting reporters. Through her media outreach, she shines light on the corruption of the US Chamber of Commerce, helping to broaden public knowledge. She has participated in an international webinar to educate global youth on ways to mitigate the climate crisis.

Kyle Giuseppe - Research

Kyle researches the Chamber of Commerce’s political donations to climate change denying politicians as well as the Chamber’s lobbying efforts for the energy industry.

Lucien Wallace - Direct Action, Research

Lucien Wallace generates ideas and carry out plans for our direct action campaigns. He contributes to the campaign blog and conducts research regarding educating students about political competency and activism.

Debra Rowe - Mentor

Debra Rowe, Ph.D.  is founder of the Disciplinary Associations' Network for Sustainability and senior advisor to the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education. Dr. Rowe has been professor of energy management, renewable energy technology and psychology for over 40 years at Oakland Community College.  She won an Energy Education Award at MIT. She also taught corporate and campus sustainability at the University of Vermont.
