Become A Junior Climate Fellow!
-
Junior Climate Fellows work within the various teams that make up Change the Chamber, and with our coalition of campus environmental groups and non-profit organizations. We collaborate within our coalition and with other stakeholders to foster the science-based legislation and community actions we urgently need for climate solutions.
We empower young adults to move beyond the doom and gloom of climate anxiety, and get engaged in solutions while building their skills to create positive changes in our broader society.
We advocate for science-based climate policies through social media, and educating elected officials, policymakers and their staff.
We work directly with large corporations to educate their executives on how to use their power to improve corporate climate action.
As youth, we also take on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, one of the largest dark money, pro-fossil fuel groups in the United States. We hold the Chamber, its member corporations, and other influential companies accountable for obstructing climate policies.
We research the U.S. Chamber, prominent corporations, the flow of dark money, and related topics to educate people and put pressure on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to stop their obstruction of climate solutions.
We work internationally to help organizations and governments in economically strained regions create climate mitigation and adaptation projects to reduce human suffering and help build a more sustainable future.
We work internationally on education for green jobs to help build a green and sustainable future for all. We work with a collaboration of international agencies and hundreds of education related and policy related organizations, helping them with their projects.
We help people see beyond their frustration with capitalism, and its short term focus on profits that harm people in the planet. We educate people about how to modify capitalism to create a sustainable future for all.
Please Note: This is an unpaid, remote position.
