Recent IPCC reports have declared “Code Red” for the climate crisis. We need a comprehensive bill now with the full suite of climate policies, not just a few items. If we don’t pay for climate mitigation and adaptation now, we willpay more in the long termand will have a much higher deficit and a more disrupted economy. Government investment is needed now to keep the U.S. competitive.
The climate policies supported by congressional Democrats are the policies necessary to stabilize climate.
